Description

Pillar Rock is one of the most inspiring crags in the Lake District, yet few can get to see it easily. Hidden away in the newly re-wilded valley of Ennerdale, it rears up over the northern flanks of its host mountain – Pillar as a mass of volcanic rock over 200 metres high. In this view by William, we can see his depiction of it rising like a massive fang over a sunlit Pillar Cove.
