Description
A reproduction of one of many drawings by William Heaton Cooper to illustrate the Fell & Rock Climbing Club guides in the 1930s. His love of climbing and his fine draftsmanship made him an obvious choice to illustrate the official guides.
East Buttress is one of the finest crags for climbing in the Lake District, with its severely overhanging nature making for some of the hardest routes in the area. These include several named after Tolkien's famous Lord of the Rings trilogy.
